Photojournalist/Producer/Director
I come from a photojournalist background, so I'm most interested in the story-telling aspect of media and exploring narratives through photographing people in their natural environment. In the past I've worked on producing, directing and filming documentaries and multimedia projects on issues like homelessness and human trafficking, issues I'm passionate about changing.
I grew up as a third culture kid in Jerusalem, Israel, was born to American parents in Brussels, Belgium and am now living in Bath in the UK. From this, it goes without being said that I love traveling and experiencing different cultures. I worked as a photojournalist in Jerusalem and the West Bank for an NGO for six months, which made me realise that media and photojournalism is my passion and what I want to pursue.
Since then I've had several articles and photographs published in the widely-circulated Bath Chronicle during a recent placement. I've also recently co-founded a wedding and event photography business with my husband called Betzalel Photography. We focus on providing reportage style photography documenting the whole day, along with creative, crazy and fun group and couple photos. In my free time I'm a musician, songwriter and avid knitter.
