Producer/Ideas
I have a passion for music and drama combined. I have a number of different types of film-making I am interested in. I especially like music videos, hard hitting short films and thoughtful feature length films, e.g. Memento, Fight Club. I have already made 2 music videos and am very keen to do more. I especially like music videos with a narrative that compliments lyrics.
My inspiration for becoming a media student was director Tim Burton. He has an individual approach to directing and putting his ideas across into something that is classified as his own style. This is something I hope to achieve when making my own films.
I have a number of different talents when it comes to screen work. I have done producing, directing, camera, sound and editing. In teams I often work well as a producer yet have been all the above roles in individual projects. I particularly enjoy editing with music as I am a musician so therefore have a very good feel/eye for when to cut to sync with the track.
I have worked as a runner for September Films, once on a show with Philip Schofield called "It's now or never" and a second time for ITV's primetime magic show "Penn and Teller: Fool Us". I have also done work for Mighty Fine Productions in a drama documentary "Models, Misfits and Mayhem." All of which have helped me evolve as a person and have taught me how to work in a professional industry.
